Pretty decent food. A bit expensive when you consider the overall experience. A bottle of water costs 7.50! Would like to try once more to form a more detailed collection of thoughts.

This place was bookmarked in my Google maps for a long time. Really wanted to visit it, as we love Korean barbecue and finally got a chance, but in return we got a very disappointing experience. We came with a six year old child who does not eat meat and spicy food. We said that the child will not eat. We specially fed her before the restaurant. The manager told us that the child could not sit like that, we had to pay 17 euros, just for her to sit. This was explained by the fact that they cannot control whether the child eats or not and also so that other visitors are not offended. I note that the restaurant was empty, only 4 visitors, there were no children. We were not offered any other options. It was easier for them to lose an average bill of 100 euros for two adults than to solve the problem. Not a customer-oriented restaurant. So parents with kids, who doesn’t eat BBQ are not welcomed there. You have to pay for a seat.

Whenever I go to a new Korean restaurant, I try their kimchi first to check if their food is going to be good. In short, Daebak serves very delicious food! The food and atmosphere remind me so much of Seoul! I wanna go back! 🥹The portion sizes are big too so you can’t eat all. I wish they gave the option to order takeaway.

Amazing Korean BBQ. For a fixed price you can order all dishes from the menu for 2 hours. The beef Bulgogi was very good and in fact everything we had was delicious. The selection of dishes is quite large and ranges from small to even several bibimbaps and stews.

Brand new and perfectly located.Finally a full Korean bbq place in the city center of Utrecht.It is simple, all you can eat for 2 hours and they have all the classics and well selected thinly sliced meat or seafood.Multiple sides and excellent bibimbap.Service was great perfect for our Sunday night.There was Seoul Sista in Rotterdam and Amsterdam finally Utrecht has its own Korean experience.40 euros with a drink, great deal, way better quality/price point that some other places in town…All that makes It deserves a 5 star …Just go and try it for yourself …

It's a decent ayce Korean bbq place, but just not amazing.The dishes were decent. The raw meat for the grill was not spiced that differently so most of the variations somehow tasted very alike. You do have one dipping sauce, but that does not beat the pirpose of having a variety of tastes.Besides that, the bibimbap or the other fried/grilled dishes are just fine. Once again, nothing amazing.The atmosphere was dark-ish and felt like a regular restaurant. The service was fine. They do what you you would expect, without a friendly touch.The timing of our visit also didn't helped with the overal experience. We went during the summer and sat next to the window (at the second part of the restaurant. Our table was often enough being bothered by flies, which I want to say it's hard to avoid. But I haven't experienced this in other Korean bbq restaurants.

Took my family out for KBBQ.Enjoyed the variety of dishes. Unfortunately some of the basics were not as great, for example the side of rice (cold, super grainy, not all cooked through etc). Nice concept and for a BBQ very good quality food, and more than enough time to eat enough.Service could be improved. One of our tables initially didn't work (we were moved to different tables). We also had to check in on two orders that didn't arrive after ordering.Only thing this place really is lacking is atmosphere. It is rather noisy, and while a BBQ does not really lend itself to the same atmosphere as a regular restaurant, they should definitely improve noise dampening with more soft surfaces.

Great barbecue, we tried maybe %80 of barbecue items and they were all good (lamb and ribeye were my favourites). Also the side dishes were made really nice so they accompany the barbecue very well. Only thing we didnt fully like was sweet sour chicken. By the way, for desert i recommend black sesame ice cream, it was amazing.One downside: it gets crowded and smelly (obviously) in there and you feel some sort of relief when you get out.In general, skip lunch and go full in here for dinner 😉

Vervolgens kregen wij een plaat waar nog etensresten op zaten en dit afgedekt met een velletje papier, super ranzig dus. Het vlees was duidelijk oud, het was verkleurd en stonk zelfs (vlees was aan de grijze kant, zie foto). Ook de Side dishes als patat en gefrituurde kip was oud en vol olie, het leek alsof het vaker gefrituurd was dan 1x. We hebben na de 1e bestelronde meteen gevraagd om de rekening omdat we zsm weg wouden door het smerige eten. Hier werd ons verteld dat wij voor de niet-opgegeten gerechten extra moesten betalen. Wij hebben aangegeven dat we dit niet van plan waren omdat het vlees simpelweg oud is. Wij zijn tegen verspilling maar dit eten was gewoon niet oké om te serveren. Great Korean BBQ in the city centre with good variety, both precooked dishes. The desert is very limited.Drinks are not included and they do also serve pork, although all their other meats besides pork is halal.

Food is just ok. Grill is ok, banchan have small servings. Kimchi doesn’t taste good. Pancake is not even warm. Soup dishes is ok.. Bibimbap is bad.. dry and tasteless. Japchae have sauce on it but taste just ok.Not going back.

Service is good, staff are very on it clearing your tables of the little plates. Only minor downfall- and this really cannot be helped- your hair and clothes will really smell like BBQ food after. I freshly washed my hair beforehand and it smells like BBQ now, also our clothes too. We'd never visited Daebak before, so we decided to go and see if it's good....it's not good. It's awesome.Our first impressions from the restaurant were already pleasant - good locale, decent interior decoration and neat table placement are an important and welcome first sight. After we sat down, we got a complete and thorough explanation of how everything works, and we started ordering.The meat served here is spiced just right, and the quality's good, too. If you manage to grill the meat correctly, you're looking at something you'll barely even have to use the meat scissors on, it'll practically fall apart around your chopsticks. Excellent. The stews and cold noodles were really good as well, the tastes blend very well together.The dessert menu is lacking somewhat as it only has four ice cream flavors, but they are quite good and also pretty big for single scoops, so dessert is still very much worth it, especially if you combine it with a warm drink.Food was excellent. Overall the quality and experience is great, we were greeted by a welcoming server which explain us how to order and the rules, there’s one drink consumption per person mandatory. They have a wide assortment of beef, chicken and sea foods and the menu includes an ball of ice cream. We paid around 37 eu per person with drink included.

Excellent service, great staff members..such a quick, friendly team. Awesome fresh meat and great side dishes. 2nd time here & it was another perfect Korean culinary experience, super tasty. Definately going again soon. Would recommend 10/10 ..and 5 stars all round.

They could improve by adding some Korean-style juices to the menu to enhance the overall experience, but in general, I can't complain, and I would come again!
